I really like it. Here’s why..
- They (Renault) are openly admitting that in the past they have been a bit crap and probably not the first car you’d choose. I like it when brands do this. When they’re willing to admit that you might not actually want to buy whatever service/product they sell. Similar to what Skoda and Marmite have done in the past – both campaigns I like.
- It’s one of those adverts where most people will relate to something within it and agree/disagree. This creates a connection between brand and consumer. It might be a strong one it might be a weak one but its a connection and thats a start.
